The Model 35P Complete Kit packs a full velocity station into one hard case: the Model 35P chronograph with built-in printer, three Skyscreen III sensors with diffusers, a 4 ft locating rail, two folding stands and the case. The rail's pressed dimples already set the spacing of the three screens, so setup needs no tape measure and no tools. Screen spacing is the denominator of every velocity calculation; the dimples keep it identical every time, which is why the kit holds its rated accuracy. It suits teams that move between ranges, new test stations, and training use.
Overview
Bought separately, a chronograph and sensors rarely lack a part; what varies is the setup geometry. Screen spacing measured with a tape differs slightly from person to person, and that difference appears in the velocity reading at the same ratio. The factory 4 ft rail settles it: 1/2 inch EMT conduit with three precisely located dimples that fix the Skyscreen III positions. Drop the screens into the dimples and setup is done. Three screens also give you the PROOF CHANNEL, so every shot yields two independent velocity readings that are cross-checked automatically. The hard case serves both transport and storage, keeping screens and diffusers safe between sessions.
