Direct from the authorized distributor
No third-party sub-rental. Known unit, known history
Calibration documents on request
Traceable calibration evidence when your QA process needs it
Engineer support
Model selection, setup and help reading the results
Rent first, buy later
Verify on your own signals before you commit to a purchase
Keep the capital for your product, keep the flexibility for the measurement
A project peak in R&D, a temporary production line, a backup while your own unit is out for calibration, or a chance to verify specifications with your own signals before you buy: in each of these cases renting usually makes more sense than purchasing. Evencat is the authorized distributor for Pendulum Instruments in Taiwan. Frequency counters and time and frequency standards ship directly from us with our own support, not through a third-party sublet, so the calibration status and firmware version can be confirmed before the unit leaves.

Describe the job
Tell us what you need to measure, the specification you must meet and the dates. You do not need to know the model yet.
Selection and quote
An engineer confirms a suitable model and its availability, then sends a rental plan and price.
Shipment and handover
We check calibration status and accessories before shipping. On-site setup and a short operating briefing can be arranged.
Support during the rental
Technical questions during the period go to our engineers. The term can be extended as the project moves.
Pendulum Instruments rental FAQ
What is the shortest rental period for a frequency counter?
Rental periods are flexible and depend on the model and availability. We can plan anything from a short project measured in weeks to long-term hire measured in months or years. Tell us your schedule when you request a quote and we will propose a matching plan and price.
Do rental units come with a calibration certificate?
Yes. Rental units can be supplied with traceable calibration documents. If your quality process requires a specific calibration interval or uncertainty, say so when you request a quote and we will confirm whether the unit's calibration status meets it.
Can I specify the channel count and time base option?
Yes. Tell us how many channels you need, the upper frequency limit (for example whether you need an RF channel into the GHz range) and the time base grade (TCXO or OCXO). If the requested model is fully booked for your dates, we will suggest an alternative of the same class or higher.
Is a rented time and frequency standard traceable to UTC?
The FTR-210R is a GNSS-disciplined rubidium reference. Once locked it delivers frequency and time outputs traceable to UTC. Tell us what form of documentation you need when you rent and we will confirm the traceability evidence we can provide.
Does the rental include the antenna and cables?
It can. Tell us the distance from the antenna to the instrument and the installation environment (indoors, rooftop, whether surge protection is needed) and we will recommend a suitable antenna and feed cable configuration.
Can I rent first and buy later?
Yes. Many customers rent to complete their own verification before deciding to purchase. Ask our sales team about rent-to-buy terms when you request a quote.
