630-406S is a 5 ft heavy-duty Kelvin probe set with spear tips and a Trident connector on the instrument end. It fits every AMPTEC 630 / 640 / 641 Series unit and any tester with Trident terminals. A 10 ft version is sold as 630-405S.
Overview
The shorter spear-tip set for heavy structures, when 10 ft of total reach is enough and weight matters. Leads are 5′ per lead (10′ total span); the set weighs 2.5 lb. Operating 0° to 50° C, storage -10° to 70° C. Other lengths and tip types are built to order. A spear tip gives a firm single-point contact for ground and bond checks on heavy structures.
5 ft short version
5 ft per lead, 10 ft total span, lighter than 630-405S. Choose the 10 ft version for widely spaced test points.
